houston & iowa based wedding photographer, tissue-holder, & lifelong friend. Specializing in digital & film.

Alecca is a documentary-style wedding photographer based in Houston, Texas. She specializes in capturing moments exactly how they felt. With over 100 weddings documented, her professionalism and intentionality mixed with a heart for service lend to serving her couples. She has a habit of becoming lifelong friends with her couples (and honestly probably their grandmas, too ;)) because relationships go hand in hand with telling your stories beautifully.

I'm an Iowa and Houston, Texas-based wedding photographer but more often than not, you can catch me hopping on a flight to document love stories around the globe! I adore destination weddings and thrive on telling your story in whatever places feel like home to you, even if that's on a beach in Italy or in the rocky mountains! 

Where are you based?

how does your associate team work?

For weddings where I'm unavailable or slightly out of budget, my associate team is an option for couples wanting the ASP wedding experience! My team is all personally trained by me to photograph your moments in the same way I do. All of your beautiful wedding day images are hand-edited by myself personally to ensure all images are in my signature style, no matter who is behind the camera on your day! 


how would you describe your photography style?

As a documentary-style wedding photographer, every moment of your day is intentionally photographer to bring all of the emotions and feelings from those memories back through your gallery! That way you can hold on to those moments forever. I'm a people-first photographer, meaning I will always and forever prioritize you on your day. I thrive on photographing candid moments and have a way of making you forget you're even in front of a camera (in the best way!!).

what photography services do you offer?

Alecca Synclair Photography specializes in photographing wedding days, wedding weekends, and couples sessions all over the world through both digital and film! Additionally, she offers Super 8 video coverage as well as drone photography.

how do I know if we're a good fit?

We might be a good fit if you value authentic, people-centered moments. If you want your wedding photos that have so much more than just the big moments of the day - photos of your guests dancing and laughing, of your dad holding back tears, of you and your besties dancing to your favorite hype song - and every moment in between, we might be a good fit.
