Your wedding is one of the rare moments in your entire life where all of your favorite people are in the same room - laughing, talking, & celebrating your union. It's a day filled with the most sacred moments and memories. As a documentary wedding photographer, when you invest in my services, you're investing in tangible proof, reminders, & visuals of the people and bonds you hold close. It's a reflection of the village that raised you, the people in your corner, & the people you wish you had more time with. Because of the immense value I place on these moments, I photograph your wedding day a little differently than your average photographer. I don't simply show up, get the traditional shots, and pack up at the end of the night. Instead, I observe, I document, and I tell the story of your day -- through a mix of various mediums. Because I believe your day is best held and cherished for years to come on digital and film. Getting your wedding moments documented by ASP means receiving intentionally documented images that bring all the moments and genuine emotions of your day flooding back.
Pricing & Information
average wedding packages range between $6,000-$8,000
Weddings & elopementS
Wedding packages are designed to intentionally document your wedding day & all the moments - big & small that fill it. Options for packages included full wedding weekend packages (my preferred package for couples with multi-day cultural weddings or destination celebrations), hourly wedding day coverage, and add ons such as super 8 films. On average, Iowa and Texas couples invest $6,000-$8,000 and receive full day coverage, a second photographer, and a mix of digital and film images. Associate wedding collections average between $5,000-$6,500.

Couples sessions range from $650-$1000
COUPLES
Couples sessions & family packages are curated to not just take posed, cheesy photos - but to tell your story instead. They serve as tangible memories of a window in time. Document the good old days through multiple couples and family photography offerings including a one hour or two hour date night session. Film and super 8 add ons are available.

Working with alecca synclair photography means an intentional process from start to finish - a friend in your corner as you plan your dream wedding day & beyond.
Step 1 - inquire. simply fill out the contact form on my website. from there, you'll hear back from me within 2 business days.
Step 2 - I send over my investment guide, which explains my various packages & helpful information. From there, we can hop on a call to chat more (my favorite, as I deeply value getting to know my clients), or let me know you'd like to book.
step 3 - I send over a proposal. the proposal will have a contract and an invoice. Once those are sent back to me, you're officially in my books!
step 4 - you're officially booked! From there, I will send you over any questionnaires or information needed to plan your wedding day or session.
step 5 - we work together! whether it's for your wedding day or couples session, I'm excited + honored to document this chapter of life. wedding galleries are delivered within 6-8 weeks from the wedding day. couples sessions are delivered within 4 weeks of the session,
step 6 - receive your dream photos. all galleries are delivered on an online digital gallery, making it easy to download, share, and print the photos from your day. I encourage all clients to make their gallery viewing into a date night so you can reflect on the sweet moments together.

Getting my couples back their forever photos promptly is one of my favorite ways to serve my couples! Average wedding gallery turnaround time is 6-8 weeks! Plus, I always send around 100 preview photos within 72 hours of your wedding day, so you have plenty to relive teh day by in the meantime.

Firstly, fill out the contact form on my website! Be sure to provide all the info - it helps me get you all the right availability and info! Then, I'll be in touch within 2 business days and will send you over my investment guide !
how does booking you work?
Absolutely! Both my associates and I all ADORE traveling to document love! Whether you're dreaming up an intimate wedding in Big Sur or somewhere international (so far, Positano Italy and Naxos, Greece have been a few favorite places I've travelled to document wedding days), count us in! We have lots of experience to ensure you're taken care of!
Do you travel?
Absolutely! Shooting old school film is one of my favorite add ons to a wedding day! Some of our packages include film, but you can always add film on by the roll to any package! I also offer super 8, which is an old school film video - sure to bring back all the true nostalgia of your day.
do you shoot film?
Second shooters can be added on to any wedding day package that doesn't already include them! Having a second photographer means two angles and two viewpoints of your most important moments.
What if I want a second shooter?
Long, confusing story short - I'm based in both Iowa, Chicago, and Houston, Texas! I often travel between the two (my heart has two homes, what can I say!). I don't charge any travel fees for either locations, because each place truly is home.

Alecca captured every single important detail & every single important person. Her eye is extraordinary. I still find new favorite photos in our gallery. She handled tricky lighting situations like a total pro — no weird color casts, no harsh edits, just clean, cohesive, authentic images that tell the story of our day exactly as it felt.
